US and European Union Inflicted Sanctions on Crimea and Russia

Simferpol – On Monday, the United States and the European Union imposed sanctions on top Ukrainians and Russians considered responsible for a breakaway vote in Crimea that has been flagged as the worst East-West clash since the Cold War.

Voting results from Sunday's referendum showed 96.77% of voters are Russian-speaking and live in Ukraine had chosen Kremlin rule which can be the most essential redesigning of the Europe’s map since Kosovo's declaration of independence from Serbia in 2008.

On Monday, Crimea's lawmakers were properly asked to join hands with Russia and vowed to scatter Ukrainian military units posted across the peninsula.

Russian troops have been controlling and maintaining Crimea and pro-Kremlin militia since the beginning of the month.

EU foreign ministers relieved travel bans and advantages stops against eight Ukrainian officials and 13 Russian officials from Crimea.

The 28-nation bloc did not include the name of those authorized but Linas Linkevicius, the Lithuanian Foreign Minister, tweeted that more EU measures will be taken in a few days.

The 21 were officially aimed for deflation the sovereignty of Ukraine.

The EU's disciplinary steps were followed minutes afterwards by a White House statement that it was imposing financial authorizations on seven top Russian government lawmakers and officials in retaliation for the Kremlin's raid.

Ukraine's expelled pro-Kremlin Viktor Yanukovych and Sergiy Aksyonov, Crimea's self-declared PM, were on the US list, the White House said.
