After a brilliant third round of 66, the world number began just three days back of Patrick Reed, but didn’t make a birdie in his career for only the eighth time.
Woods is willing to appear in the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Augusta, by trying to make a quick possible recovery from his back injury within the two week time.
Reed who has been entitled as the youngest person to win WGC to challenge the established order and after his third victory from the last 14 on the PGA tour, he received the biggest cheque of $1,530,000.
"I have three wins on the PGA Tour," he said. "You don't see a lot of guys that have done that. I feel I'm one of the top five players in the world."A pretty bold and somewhat over-confident statement was given by Reed.
